Climate change is one of the main causes of the increase in storm activity and lightning strikes and therefore of the appearance of many accidents in facilities not protected against atmospheric discharges.

Description:

Electrode:

Manufactured in copper with electrolytic treatment to obtain higher conductivity low resistance and durability in aggressive terrain.

Due to its delta-shaped design it obtains a greater contact area with the ground and thus can dissipate parasitic currents efficiently.

The equipotential filter has the property of low damping frequencies minimizing noise preventing the passage of return currents and equipotential bonding natural electrodes as well as prefabricated on site.

Soil reactivating compound composed of conductive minerals lowers soil resistivity and improves the performance of the grounding system.

Lightning rod:

Manufactured in aluminum.

Provides protection VS direct lightning strikes to surfaces or structures.

It provides a safe point of impact as the toroidal exciter coil and equipotential ring create an ionization effect (corona) which will provide an attractive point for lightning strike.

This tip connected to the down conductor will provide a safe path to the SEPTE grounding electrode to drain the lightning current.

It has an approximate coverage radius of 72 degrees.
